Midland, MI – SPACE, Inc. a woman-owned small business, has been awarded a $50M blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). There were only 4 organizations nationwide that were awarded this BPA. Under this BPA, SPACE will compete with the other awardees for task orders on systems furniture, modular furniture, demountable partitions, ancillary furniture, and components in accordance with GSA contract number GS-28F-0025P. The BPA lasts for 5 years.
Since 2004 SPACE has held blanket purchase agreements with various federal agencies to provide office furniture products, interior design, project management and related services to the federal government.
In February 2021, SPACE added two new proprietary programs—SPACE Anew ™, an upcycling and purposeful recycling of existing furniture assets program, and SPACE Facility Armor ™, a two part antimicrobial program to enhance cleaning protocols. Both programs were successfully added to the SPACE GSA contract. They are both available and have been executed for commercial clients as well.
