Employee feature: Austin Dingee

Austin Dingee joined SPACE, Inc. five months ago as a Craftsman. He had heard about SPACE when our team worked on an office for a previous employer of his.

What are your responsibilities as a Craftsman?

My primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and on-site supervision during installation.  I work to ensure jobs are properly planned, resulting in an on-time (and on budget) completion. My goal is to make sure we have a safe and successful install and that our clients are taken care of.

While I’m relatively new to the role and the industry, I’m enjoying the challenge of figuring out the inner-workings of the industry and how everything fits together.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I absolutely love seeing how excited customers are when they see their new office spaces. They often rush in to check out the new furniture!

What is the future of SPACE, from your perspective?

I think SPACE’s future is bright! Every company wants to create modern and aesthetically-pleasing spaces for their employees and clients. Our work is only beginning.

When he’s not working, Austin enjoys playing softball and hoping the Detroit Lions will win a game!
