Baker College needed a design partner that could make renovating and moving into a new space elementary. A used-car building needed to be made over into an Admissions Department that could help win new college recruits. That meant turning the space into a warm and elegant workspace that would provide a comfortable atmosphere, while inspiring students to attend the college.
The Administration Department requested a functional, easy-to-use office space, so we installed custom laminate casework that complemented new wood furniture from Haworth. We also created an efficient layout that centralized and increased the storage capacity for brochures, files and printed materials.

The Client’s Response
“Accommodating students is integral to our success, so when we were opening the new Admissions Department we wanted to make sure that the transition would cause minimal disruptions for students and staff. SPACE was able to convert the used-car building into an efficient work space that helps us better meet student needs.” – Richard DeLong, Vice President of Marketing and Administration
